Destiny House revolves around people, wherever people are found you can guarantee that Destiny House is going to do all that we can to be there. Each week we have three main gatherings to unite our community on Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night. Throughout the week we have an incredible team of Pastors who are available if you need to have a chat, grab a cup of coffee with someone or just talk on the phone. We offer many ways for anyone to get involved in our church community as well as our neighborhood community.
One of our mandates is to become an active contributing factor in the social landscape of our Long Beach Community. To not only be a great service to our neighbors and fellow residents, but also to become an asset in our local community's governing powers. Currently, our Community team is broken up into 3 parts: John May is the ‘go between’ of Destiny House and Long Beach government; through building relationships with Long Beach officials we are, constantly establishing a position of assistance. Nash Garcia is great at what he does in creating a thriving and active community assistance program including our outreaches, ‘adopt a block’ type activities for residential and commercial neighbors and community events. We also have a great team who are constantly expanding our Prison Ministries that we are currently providing for Orange County Jails/Prisons and Los Angeles County Jails/Prisons; no one gets left behind.
Destiny House is community driven, and as our church size continues to grow, we will always continue to be active in meeting the needs of people, whatever that looks like.
